    Important: Processing times can vary based on how complete your application is and how busy the local office is.

    Choose a licensed provider

    • Pick a licensed provider
    • TDHS pays the provider directly
    • You pay a small share by income
    Good to know: Once approved, your help lasts 24 months. Then you reapply.
    Important: Your provider must be licensed and take part in the program.
