  1. Step 1 of 6: See if your family fits

    • Tribal member or descendant
    • Live on RSIC or Hungry Valley land
    • Working, training, or job seeking
    Good to know: Care is for children 3 months to 13 years, matched to your work schedule. Meals are provided.
  2. Step 2 of 6: Get the application

  3. Step 3 of 6: Get your papers ready

    • Tribal enrollment papers
    • Birth certificate and shot records
    • Social Security cards
    • Pay stubs or schedule
  4. Step 4 of 6: Turn it in

    • In person at a center
    • Or mail or fax 775-785-9161
  5. Step 5 of 6: Meet your case manager

    They check your eligibility

    • Intake with 477 Case Manager
    • Ask about your fee amount
    Don't miss: Services start only after your application is verified. There is no back pay for earlier care.
  6. Step 6 of 6: Start child care

    Important: Report changes in work, training, or household to your 477 Case Manager, or your eligibility can change.
