    Made for middle-income working families

    • Your job takes part in Tri-Share
    • Income fits the rules
    • Not on other child care help
    Good to know: This program is for families who earn between 200% and 400% of the poverty level - too much for other subsidies.
  2. Step 2 of 6: Fill out the form

    It confirms your income and job

  3. Step 3 of 6: Get your papers ready

    • Proof of your pay
    • Proof of your job
    • Your provider's name and license
  4. Step 4 of 6: Pick a child care provider

    Must be licensed

  5. Step 5 of 6: Wait for your answer

    • Answer in about 10 business days
    • Provider gets paid in two weeks
  6. Step 6 of 6: Pay just one-third

    Your share comes through your job

    • You pay one-third
    • Job and state pay the rest
    • Renew every two years
    Important: If you leave your job, the help ends that day and you pay full cost.
    Good to know: Care can cover babies through school-age kids, including summer programs.
