    • You work, study, or train for a job
    • You live in Arkansas
    • You need help paying for child care
    Good to know: Part-time work counts too.
  2. Step 2 of 6: Get your papers ready

    One paper from each group

    • Child's birth certificate or shot records
    • Pay stubs from the last 30 days
    • Work schedule or school letter
    • Utility bill, lease, or driver's license
  3. Step 3 of 6: Apply for the program

    Important: You may need a short interview by phone or in person.
  4. Step 4 of 6: Pick a child care provider

    • Choose a licensed provider
    • Make sure they take the program
  5. Step 5 of 6: Wait for your answer

    • Up to 30 days after your papers are in
    • You get an approval notice
  6. Step 6 of 6: Start your child care

    • The state pays most of the cost
    • You pay a small monthly copay
