What is the Arkansas Child Care Assistance Program?
The Arkansas Child Care Assistance Program helps families pay for child care so parents can work, go to school, or attend job training. The program covers part or most of the cost of child care at approved, licensed providers. Families pay a small portion of the cost, called a copayment, and the state pays the rest directly to the provider. This program makes child care more affordable for families with lower incomes.
