  1. Step 1 of 6: See if this fits you

    • Child is birth to 5 years old
    • You live in Arkansas
    • Your income fits the guidelines
    Good to know: Priority often goes to 3 and 4 year olds.
  2. Step 2 of 6: Find an ABC program near you

    Don't miss: You apply directly at a participating site, not through a state portal.
    Important: Not all providers offer ABC spots.
  3. Step 3 of 6: Get your papers ready

    • Child's birth certificate or shot records
    • Pay stubs from the last 30 days
    • Utility bill, lease, or driver's license
    • Special needs or custody papers if any

  4. Step 4 of 6: Apply at the program

    • Ask for the application form
    • Turn in your papers
  5. Step 5 of 6: Wait for your answer

    • Answers come before the school year or when a spot opens
